Parents in lower Manhattan and upper West Side fear their children will have to attend classes outside their neighborhoods
From The New York Daily News: At least three schools in New York City's Manhattan borough already have dozens more kindergarten applicants than they can handle--and there's still a week left in the registration period. Parents hoping to send their youngsters to topnotch schools in lower Manhattan and on the upper West Side are worrying their kids will end up with a 30-block commute to class instead.
