The Brownsville (Texas) school board has voted down a motion to award the architectural bid for the district’s sixth high school. The administration had recommended awarding the bid to PBK, but the board voted 5 to 2 to reject that proposal. According to a qualification and ranking form, administration ranked PBK first among 11 bids received and Gomez Mendez Saenz second. A citizen bond oversight committee also used the qualification and ranking form to rank the bids. It ranked Gomez Mendez Saenz first and PBK second.
