Denver community college to close 3 satellite locations

Officials say the school can't afford to keep sites open

Community College of Denver will close three of its four satellite locations effective Dec. 31 as a cost-cutting measure. CCD President Karen Bleeker says no one will be laid off in the move and vowed that the college will try to find rent-free locations in schools, libraries and businesses as a way to continue to reach out to the community.
