Prosecutors looking into misconduct allegations for supervisor in Memphis (Tenn.) district

Administrator allegedly funneled contract to brother-in-law's firm

From The Memphis Commercial Appeal: The Shelby County (Tenn.) District Attorney's office is investigating the case of a Memphis City Schools supervisor accused of mismanaging money and funneling a contract to her brother-in-law's landscaping firm. Nieika Parks was suspended and demoted last spring after an anonymous district employee mailed copies of paid invoices to City Council members and media.
