From The Atlanta Journal-Constitution: The Fulton County (Ga.) school district has tapped an executive from Charlotte-Mecklenburg (N.C.) Schools as the sole finalist for its next school superintendent. Robert M. Avossa is the chief strategy and accountability officer in Charlotte.
