From The Sacramento Bee: St. Francis of Assisi Elementary School in Sacramento, Calif., will relocate for the coming school year after its current building was deemed unsafe. The K-8 school, which was built in 1923, learned in June that the building did not pass safety regulations and would need to be retrofitted. Estimates for the retrofitting have ranged from $3 million to $5 million. The school will relocate to the All Hallows Parrish in the city’s Tahoe Park neighborhood for an undetermined amount of time.
