Staley High School is expected to welcome students in August.

The North Kansas City (Mo.) district is planning to open its fourth high school later this summer. Spread across 80 acres in the northern part of Kansas City, Staley High School is designed to take some pressure off the district's other three, overcrowded high schools. About 900 students are expected to start classes in August. The 314,000-square-foot building is situated on an 80-acre campus. The architect is Hollis + Miller.
