78 schools named Green Ribbon Schools

News release: The U.S. Department of Education has named 78 schools as the first-ever Green Ribbon Schools. The schools selected represent 29 states and Washington, D.C. The Green Ribbon Schools program honors schools that exercise a comprehensive approach to creating "green" environments through reducing environmental impact, promoting health, and ensuring a high-quality environmental and outdoor education.
