$30 million bond package approved in Rome, N.Y.

Five schools will receive upgrades

From The Utica Observer Dispatch: Voters in the Rome (N.Y.) City School District have approved a $30 million referendum that will allow upgrades to begin immediately on five local elementary schools. The new project includes roof replacements, asbestos removal and improvements to air handling systems and handicapped accessibility at the Denti, Gansevoort, Joy, Ridge Mills and Clough elementary schools.
