From The Grand Island Independent: The Centura (Neb.) school board has asked voters to approve a $14.5 million bond package to pay for renovations and additions to the district’s school. A $12.3 million request would provide funds to convert the school's competition gym into a library, and add a new gymnasium, a kitchen and commons area. A $2.2 million question seeks approval to add to the school’s auditorium. Mail-in ballots are due back by Sept. 14.
