Extensive renovation of Massachusetts high school nearly done

Haverhill High gets $27.2 million facelift

A $27.2 million renovation of Haverhill (Mass.) High School is nearly complete. The modernization has improved security, improved accommodations for students with disabilities, and provided more efficient heating and cooling systems, cleaner air and modern science laboratories. The upgrades will enable the 2,100-student school to come off accreditation probation early next year, officials say. The architect is Knight, Bagge and Anderson.
