Michelle Rhee has clashed with Vincent Gray, who won this week’s mayoral primary

From The Washington Post: Two Washington, D.C., Council members say they will press mayoral primary winner Vincent C. Gray and Schools Chancellor Michelle A. Rhee to negotiate an "extended transition" that could keep her in the job until the end of the 2011-12 school year. Gray and Rhee have clashed in the three years since her appointment; Gray has not committed to retaining her. Rhee has signaled that she does not want to work for Gray, who defeated Fenty in the city’s mayoral primary.
