Four students at Orange, Calif., elementary allegedly were victimized

From The Orange County Register: The parents of four students at Taft Elementary School in Orange, Calif., have sued teacher Daniel Ryan Lentini, the Orange Unified School District and the school's principal following accusations that the teacher physically abused their special-education children. Lentini has been on paid administrative leave since March while district officials investigate allegations he grabbed disabled kids by the back of the neck to move them, straddled and sat on kids who are unable to speak, intentionally scared and teased them, and even punched them. The suit contends the district and Principal Antoinette Coe did not properly handle the incidents.
