All residence hall rooms at LSU will get wireless Internet

Dec. 19, 2008
Louisiana State University plans to upgrade all of its 17 residence halls

Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge is expanding its wireless connectivity so every residence hall room will have Internet access without having to plug in. All the residence halls already have wireless connectivity in common areas, including foyers, patios, meeting rooms, study rooms, kitchens and laundry rooms. But there is no guaranteed wireless access inside students' rooms. The upgrades to the 17 on-campus residence halls should be completed by the fall 2009 semester.
