Campus hasn't built a residence hall in more than 40 years

From The Des Moines Register: A member of the Iowa Board of Regents is calling for the University of Iowa to build its first new residence hall in more than 40 years. Regent Bob Downer says the university needs to expand what is now an aging housing system that operates at 100 percent capacity. The campus also needs to create a special housing community for honors students, he says.
