Sept. 13, 2012

From The Baltimore Sun: Thomas Johnson Elementary/Middle School is one of the first schools in Baltimore to get a $1 million library and media center as part of an effort led by the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation. The "Baltimore Elementary and Middle School Library Project" was conceived last year to use private and public funding to bring new libraries to some of the city's most challenged schools. The project will build 12 state-of-the-art library facilities in four years.
