From The Tampa Tribune: The parents of a 7-year-old special needs student in the Hillsborough County (Fla.) School District who died after riding on a school bus in January are suing the district over their daughter's death. Lisa and Dennis Herrera, parents of Sessums Elementary School student Isabella Herrera, contend that the school district failed to properly position her in her wheelchair, failed to monitor her, and failed to provide medical care when she started choking during a bus ride Jan. 24.
