Louisiana district offers incentives to attract workers

In an attempt to attract workers and compete with bonus-laden offers from the fast-food industry and service sector, officials with the St. Tammany Parish (La.) public school system have drafted an incentive plan targeting bus drivers and custodians, both in short supply since Hurricane Katrina.
