Administrators hope action will deter binge drinking

From The Washington Post: The president of Catholic University in Washington, D.C., has decided to get rid of coed student housing in an effort to curtail binge drinking and casual hookups of students. Eleven of the university's 17 residence halls are coed, so the return to single-sex dorms will take place over several years. This fall, the university will place most freshmen in all-women or all-men halls.
