17 classrooms sustain damage from intruders

Vandals trashed 17 classrooms and a construction trailer at Cedar Park Middle School in the Leander (Texas) school district. The rooms sustained tens of thousands of dollars' worth of damage, including broken windows, damaged computers and toppled furniture. About 300 students affected by the crime attended classes Thursday in the campus's library, computer labs and conference rooms.
