July 18, 2011

From The Cleveland Plain Dealer: Cuyahoga Community College has spent $11 million to buy 106 acres in Highland Hills, Ohio, and $3.5 million to demolish vacant buildings on the property. But most of the land has remained vacant while the college and the village wrestled over zoning. Now the school is going ahead with plans to develop at least part of the land. It is building a facility for workforce training, career training and sustainability programs on the portion of the property that Highland Hills says is available for tax-exempt development.
