District consolidation could save millions in Michigan, study finds

From The Grand Rapids Press: A study by researchers at Michigan State University’s Education Policy Center of school administration costs found that consolidating school districts in Michigan along county lines would save about $612 million a year after three years. Michigan has 550 public districts.
