University of Illinois moves extension site

Officials want a greater presence west of Chicago in DuPage County.

The University of Illinois DuPage Extension is moving in mid-May to Naperville from Wheaton. The move will save money on rent, but it was mainly initiated by university officials who want the school to have a greater presence in DuPage County. In its new location, the extension will be easily accessible from Interstate 88.
