Union contends that law violates teachers' bargaining rights

From The St. Petersburg Times: The Florida Education Association has filed suit to challenge a teacher tenure law that redefines how public school teachers are paid, evaluated, hired and fired. In the lawsuit filed in Leon County Circuit Court, the teachers union contends that some provisions of Senate Bill 736 violate teachers' collective bargaining rights under Florida law.
