    $219 million request from Allen (Texas) district

    Money would pay for 2 new elementary schools and several campus expansions

    TheAllen (Texas) school district has placed a $219 million bond referendum on the Nov. 4 ballot. Amont the projects that the bonds would pay for: two elementary schools; a career and technology center addition at the high school; expansion of two middle schools; renovations to two middle schools and six elementary campuses; and other facility improvements.
