Davis (Utah) district seeks $250 million bond issue

Voters will decide in November on facilities proposal


From The Salt Lake Tribune: The Davis (Utah) School Board has placed a a $250 million bond proposal on the Nov. 3 ballot. The money would be used to build several facilities. The district expects enrollment to increase by more than 900 students this fall alone. In the past, the board has discussed using bonds to build three elementary schools, a junior high, and a special-education facility; remodel existing schools; pay for technology upgrades; and buy land.
