Southern University at New Orleans begins restoration of hurricane-damaged library

$4.3 million project begins nearly 7 years after Katrina

From The New Orleans Times-Picayune: Nearly seven years after Hurricane Katrina's wind and water wrecked the library at Southern University at New Orleans, restoration of the three-story structure is to begin. A ceremony later this week will kick off the $4.3 million project. The architect is Jerry Campbell & Associates.
