Facility is being built as an addition to the high school

The city ofTaunton, Mass., has broken ground on a new middle school. The facility will accommodate up to 550 students in a 60,000-square-foot, three-story addition to the high school. The addition will allow the middle school to function independently, providing all the required program areas, while the central heating plant and other services will continue to be shared with the high school.The architect is Design Partnership of Cambridge.
