Francis Howell High will get 106 new classrooms, plus gym and cafeteria

From St. Louis Suburban Journals: The Francis Howell (Mo.) School District is moving ahead with plans to rebuild Francis Howell High School, plus additions to Francis Howell North High School and Daniel Boone Elementary School. The current configuration of Francis Howell High spreads classes among multiple buildings, requiring students to walk outside between periods. The plan would put nearly all Howell High classes under one roof. The district will construct an H-shaped, three-story addition, adding 106 classrooms, a new gymnasium, media center and commons/cafeteria area. It would also add sports fields and parking spaces. The architect is Hoener Associates.
