NYC mayor says he'll veto ban on metal bats

Council passed law prohibiting metal bats in high school baseball games.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg says he will veto a ban on metal bats passed by the City Council. The council voted 40-6 last month to prohibit the bats from high school baseball in an effort to slow down the game and make it safer.
