Less growth enables campuses to return to traditional calendar

From The Las Vegas Sun: Growth in the Clark County (Nev.) district has slowed enough that officials are preparing to change 17 year-round schools to nine-month schedules next fall. Building permits have been filed indicating that neighborhoods should be adding students, but the homes are not being built. The schools that will convert from a year-round schedule to a nine-month calendar are all elementary schools. But at the same time, two other elementary schools that are experiencing crowding will change from a nine-month to a year-round schedule.
