Voters approve bond proposal in New Jersey district

Pequannock Township schools get $12.9 million for upgrades

Voters in thePequannock Township (N.J.) district have approved a $12.9 million school bond measure for upgrades to the high school and middle school. The proposal was about one third of the size of a referendum that voters rejected two years ago. The money will pay for renovation of the high school auditorium and upgrades for the school's heating and electrical system. It also calls for fire safety and school security improvements at Pequannock Valley Middle School. To read The Daily Record article, click here.
