Additions planned for Buffalo high school

Canisius High School to get $14 million upgrade

Canisius High School in Buffalo, N.Y., is planning a $14 million upgrade of its campus that includes a new fieldhouse and academic wing. A new three-story, 26,000-squarefoot math and science wing will be constructed on what now is a grass practice field. The 27,000-square-foot fieldhouse will be situated where Frauenheim Hall, a former Jesuit residence, now stands. The architect is Hamilton Houston Lownie Architects.
