United Arab Emirates donate at least $500,000 for Joplin High School laptops

News release: The United Arab Emirates Embassy is donating $500,000 to support Joplin (Mo.) Schools’ One-to-One Initiative, which aims to provide all 2,200 Joplin High School students with a laptop computer. In addition, the Embassy has issued a challenge grant: It will match any funds donated to the One-to-One Initiative up to an additional $500,000; bringing the total grant to $1 million.
