Voters approve $32 million bond proposal in Ladue (Mo.) district

District will use site to build early childhood center

From The St. Louis Post-Dispatch: The Ladue (Mo.) School District can move ahead with plans to purchase Westminster Christian Academy to build an early childhood center and eventually use the extra classroom space for a growing enrollment after voters approved a $32 million bond issue.

DECEMBER 2009....news release: The Ladue (Mo.) School District has scheduled a $32 million bond election on April 6. The district would use the funds to acquire Westminster Christian Academy’s campus in Creve Coeur and build an early childhood center. Westminster Christian Academy, an independent college prep school for grades seven to 12, is looking to sell the property and build a new $50 million campus on 70 acres in Town & Country.
