University economist says institution creates 22,000 jobs

From The Baton Rouge Advocate: A study argues that the Louisiana State University has a $1.3 billion economic impact annually on the region. The study by LSU economist Stephen Barnes also contends the university creates almost 22,000 jobs directly and indirectly.
