Pro-charter organization says list shows that more charters are needed

From The St. Paul Pioneer-Press: More than 5,200 students are on wait lists to get into charter schools across Minnesota, according to a survey by the Minnesota Association of Charter Schools. The results show "there's interest in charter schools, and that there's still room for other charter schools in the marketplace," says Eugene Piccolo, the association's executive director. Minnesota has about 150 charter schools enrolling 35,000 students, according to the association.
