Texas district seeks funds for new high school

Lago Vista board puts $29.6 million proposal on November ballot

From The Austin American-Statesman: The Lago Vista (Texas) school board has scheduled a $29.6 million bond election on Nov. 8 to acquire funds for a new high school. Enrollment has grown 11 percent in the last three years, from 1,199 in 2008-09 to 1,331 students this year. The new high school would have a capacity of 600, with the possibility of expanding to 1,200.
