28 Cincinnati schools to get energy-saving renovations

District is taking out a $26.8 million loan to pay for upgrades

From The Cincinnati Enquirer: The Cincinnati school district is taking out a $26.8 million low-interest loan for energy-saving renovations at 28 schools. The money will pay to replace inefficient lights, install motion sensors to control lighting and centralize thermostat control. The renovations also will include air conditioning for those buildings that don’t have it.
