From The St. Louis Post-Dispatch: The St. Louis city school district superintendent has laid out plans to shutter six schools, cut almost 500 jobs, trim nearly $58 million next year, and, at the same time, re-create, revitalize or close 21 of the district's lowest-performing schools.
