Study urges Ohio districts to share services

Feb. 25, 2011

From The Cincinnati Enquirer: A study by the Ohio Smart Schools Initiative is recommending regional consolidation, not of school districts themselves, but of many services that school districts need, such as purchasing, transportation and legal services. The changes would improve efficiency, save money and improve academic achievement in Ohio's 614 public school districts, according to the study.
