Leasing space means revenue for Palm Beach schools

District takes in $2.5 million a year by leasing to outside groups

The Palm Beach County (Fla.) School District is stepping up efforts to make schools available to community groups, a trend shown by a rise in leasing income from $1.7 million to $2.5 million during the past three years, according to a report by district auditors.
