Penn plans biomedical research facility

The University of Pennsylvania will build a $370 million, state-of-the-art biomedical research facility in Philadelphia. The university says the building, which is scheduled to open in the summer of 2010, will be integrated with the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine and the Roberts Proton Therapy Center, which are already under construction. The architect is Rafael Vinoly Architects
