Bond proposal rejected in Lewistown (Mont.) district

$10.7 million plan would have paid for new middle school

From The Great Falls Tribune: Voters in the Lewistown (Mont.) School District have rejected a proposed $10.7 million bond issue to build a new middle school. The district was seeking to replace the existing junior high school, which was built in 1921, doesn't meet accessibility standards, has plumbing problems, and plaster is coming off the walls.
