Charter school legislation introduced in South Dakota

Bill would make it possible for groups to create charter schools in the state

For a second consecutive year,South Dakota legislators will be asked to allow charter schools in the state. State Rep. Kevin Killer says charter schools would provide an alternative for students struggling in crowded public schools and give educators an opportunity to integrate more cultural diversity into the curriculum.
