Board fires 4th grade teacher who was accused of sexually harassing another employee
From The Los Angeles Times: A schoolteacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District who spent nearly two years outside the classroom with full pay and benefits while district officials investigated sexual harassment accusations against him, has been dismissed by the school board. Thomas Shelden was a fourth-grade teacher at Charles White Elementary in Westlake when officials removed him from the campus in May 2008. He had been accused of sexually harassing another instructor.
