Iowa district approves $2.9 million bond

Voters in the Northeast Hamilton (Iowa) Community School District have approved a $2.9 million building project for a new elementary school building in Blairsburg. A similar proposal last year was supported by a majority of voters, but the measure needed 60 percent for approval. This time, the plan received a 71 percent yes vote.
