Washington, D.C., says it's willing to lease 4 empty schools to charter operators

City officials say they will consider offers for the 4 former elementary campuses

From The Washington Post: Four vacant Washington, D.C., public school buildings could become new homes for public charter schools. The city says it will consider offers from charters for leasing the former J.F. Cook, Langston, Rudolph and Young elementary schools. Cook, Rudolph and Young were closed for low enrollment in 2008. Langston was shuttered in the mid-1990s.
