The State Bond Commission has authorized Gretna to spend $3 million to find a new home for the West Bank ARC, the nonprofit group. The city has already given $10,000 to the Archdiocese of New Orleans toward buying the property on Gretna Boulevard. The archdiocese closed the all-girls Catholic school in May and merged its students with Immaculata High School in Marrero.
