Vista (Calif.) district may delay high school opening

Budget cuts prompts district to re-examine plans for school in Oceanside

Faced with potentially painful state budget cuts to education, the Vista (Calif.) Unified School District may delay the opening of one of its top priorities--a long-planned high school in Oceanside. The district has been working to open Mission Vista High School by this fall to relieve crowding at Vista and Rancho Buena Vista high schools.
